Former Chelsea, Juventus and Roma manager Claudio Ranieri has taken over at Inter Milan. He has signed a contract running until June 2013.
On Wednesday morning Gian Piero Gasperini was fired and he expressed his disappointment with these words:“In the end, the results are the ones that determine everything It’s a pity that our relationship had to be interrupted”. Club president Massimo Moratti stated that it was time for a change after their fourth defeat in five games this term.
On Thursday, an official statement was read “Claudio Ranieri is officially the new coach of Inter”. And also “Inter Milan has the pleasure to welcome Claudio Ranieri and his staff” said by officials.
New Inter Milan coach Ranieri has promised to struggle to get the team’s best playing again. He also added “Inter are a great team, they’ve had a false start. I need to speak with the whole squad to understand why”
Ranieri is also familiar this situation and he belives his experience will help him to be successful and rescue Inter.
