Steven Spielberg Has Delayed Lincoln's Biopic Film For Election

The famuos director Steven Spielberg stated that he will release his Abraham Lincoln biopic after the 2012 US elections. His aim is to avoid his film being “political fodder”. 

 

The film will be inspired from Team of Rivals which is one of the best selling books. 

 

Daniel Day Lewis will act the president and actress Sally Field will play his wife. Joseph Gordon-Levitt will be Lincoln’s eldest son Robert Lincoln. The movie will go on with Lincoln’s journey to erase slavery and put an end to the American Civil War but generally concentrade on the final four months of his life. 

 

Spielberg said “the movie is about to important work Abraham Lincoln did in the last months in his life”.

 

In July, The Conspirator was released. It is also Abraham Lincoln-related film directed by Robert Redford. The film narrates the story of a woman who played a role in the assassination of Lincoln in 1865.
